The following note is solely dedicated to all the leaders out there who are really capable of bringing a "RAW DEAL FOREVER CHANGE" in the society!
As I sat wondering on my sofa, as to why India had sunk to this depressional state in terms of immorality and filth, my vision convincingly digressed to the television set which showcased the ‘bom chika wow wow’ advertisement and then a fair lady trying to get a sip of mango juice glide on her lips (seemingly succulent). I then hit upon the fact that if there’s one main cause that has aggravated our country’s poor stimulus to morality; it has to be a 5 letter word, MEDIA!
By Media, we can all but agree to the fact that it has all it needs to kill our time smoothly and keep us wagging our tails for more. Let me start with films that made a horrendous impact on the present youth. Immortalizing villainous acts, showcasing women as sidekick items rather than soulful actresses, the unwanted seductive acts, the garbage language and what not! By stating this, I also intend to say that these aren’t some random flicks, but rather they are those which rake in the moolah so much so as to help us perceive that even the audience knowing what’s offered on the table is game for more of it!
Where are the decent films that once made us laugh and cry, brought in an aura of unity and strength, encouraged us to take on our battles with aplomb? I sincerely do find none, except for those sincere films which really tackled issues like terrorism, ragging and national pride. Just because an actor flaunts his lifestyle on screen or a heroine masters the art of deception and seduction, doesn’t mean we need to copy them effectively. We have been slaves! Slaves tied to an iron rod, bound in chains and made half afloat in a sea of chicanery, charlatan possessiveness and impoverishment. What can we do? Change!!
Watching two sick bald headed guys scream out disdainfully at participants; Oh! Wait a minute, even the participants themselves are doing much worse than those two! (try Roadies) – Is this what we need to see every day to more sicken our lives? We so naturally imbibe them in our lives and make it our lifestyle! A great man said, “You tell, I disagree; I see, I believe and make you agree”. That’s exactly how we’ve been manipulated. Divorces don’t occur naturally, these above factors are just wonderful catalysts to this irreversible, high coefficient of rate of reaction kind of reaction! What the world thinks of exposing is simply to them, explosive! Can they not portray beauty through real talent rather than uncomfortable ‘showing-off’? Even the music composed today lacks meaning and makes no sense to me at all! Why does a person want to be in a relationship if he just needs a night to spend with someone? Seriously damning! What can we do? Change!!
Changing our preferences, our attitudes, our goals, our desires and our necessities would really help us overcome any evil! We can change. We can make India a moral nation! We can do it! All we need to do is follow the right people and be right leaders in our own ways for the right causes! We can CHANGE!!
