when we were kids and had all sorts of restrictions barricading us , although for our good , we used to say - "mommy , i am a big boy/girl now". we used to measure our height every now and then , balance ourselves on toes whenever we were called a kid . we hated to be called - small , little kids .... right ?
now ,the question that arises is - "what happens to our thinking when we enter our 30's or 40's?". we don't want to grow older ?? mostly the answer is ... YES ! WE DON'T.
what are we afraid of ? grey hair ? wrinkles ? or perhaps it is because growing old is stereotyped as a not-so-great thing to happen !
it makes me laugh when people , specially girls , use tons of anti-ageing stuff to keep themselves away from this "unwanted" thing - growing old. why are you so afraid ?
you may not know but it is this time in your life when you have minimum worries and maximum time to enjoy things you used to put off before . it is a beautiful thing to grow old. all of us like to grow ... isn't it? then how can just a suffix make such a big difference??
growing old is awesome , only when you stop thinking negative of your grey hair , the wrinkles etc etc . yes , this age brings low-energy and less stamina . but why waste this stamina watching your face in the mirror and feel sorry for your appearance ?? it never takes a lot of energy to be happy, smile and enjoy ..right ?. and if you talk about the diseases coming in handy with your age ... umm try yoga ! :D and ! and ! and ! you are acting as if you were the fittest person alive before entering into your 40's ...hmm?
getting on to the romantic part , growing old with your partner is just so adorable ! time flew , people changed , some came, some left but your love for each other grew as you did :) . nothing in this world can match the beaut of starting a life with your love and being there till your last :) ... adore it ! stop asking him if he still finds you beautiful :D ... of course he does ! being old together is a proof that being young together wasn't a mistake ;)
love grows , thoughts intensify , tranquility overshadows all the worries . you are free and can act as immature as you want. growing old shouldn't be mistaken as growing up , because growing up is completely optional :D
