He wrote the script for five long years. He worked hard for it. He read several information books, novels, etc. He just wanted his story to be honest. He wanted people to like it, because it was his first script. He was going to direct the picture too. Well he always wanted to.
Here he was sitting on the small mattress and penning the final scene. It took him another two hours to finish the scene. He felt completed and relaxed. He held the bundle of the script in his hands and just felt it. He prepared coffee for himself. Sipping the coffee, he went back to days when he used to go and watch movies hiding away from his father. The motion always fascinated him, but it was the story which fascinated him even more. He felt as if he was a part of the story. It made him curious. He wanted to be the Robert DeNiro of Raging bull, and King of Comedy, he wanted to be the protagonist of Once Upon a time in America. He always felt that there was some secret hidden in those movies. There was this illusion which he felt like a trick but to believe it. A small curve escaped from his lips. He was ready now.
It took him one and half years to complete the cinema. He was lucky that he found a producer who could invest in his vision. He hired no stars, but all were a want to be star kind of people. He knew the problems that would come while shooting. The cat fights, budget, people and all. He surpassed it all. People call director, a captain of the ship and he was really a captain. The movie was like his son, because he had put so much sweat in to it.
He was finally ready. There was a lack of promotion because there were no big entertainment companies behind this movie. However they released the movie with low key promotion.
EXACTLY at 12.00pm, little peter entered the movie hall. To his amusement the movie really mesmerised him. He always hated the movies; he felt that they were over the top. But this particular one directed by someone newcomer, this movie really won his heart. He had never seen such a movie. The movie was four hours long. When he came out of the cinema hall, he felt as if he had watched an epic. He knew one thing that he wanted to be a movie director.
Peter next day read the newspaper. He was unhappy. The movie that he watched was rated 1.5* out of 5. The critics gave it no popular choice. They said it had no plot. They complained about its length was a major drawback. It was the same case with all the critics. They gave it a big letdown. Peter wondered how they could be so cruel. The movie really had a heart. He just kept quiet, what else he could have done?
The new director was to be seen nowhere. The movie flopped. People didn’t care to watch because they believed the critics. They held them. The new director had gone somewhere and he never came back. He never ever came back. Where did he go?
What was the name of that movie?
