"You are so beautiful" "Look at that beautiful bird!" "That sunrise is so divine..so beautiful"
Beauty....Its said that beauty lies in the eye of the beholder. It is true. Only a jeweler will know how well cut a stone is or should be to make it beautiful. A scientist will find his/her experiments, just beautiful. A nature lover will find beauty in everything around them. A husband (albeit, a truly loving person) will find his/her other half beautiful, regardless of colour, caste, creed, sex :)
So what is beauty? Is it just the dress/shirt you wore? Or is it the lady or stud who walked you by? Is it just a mere "feeling"? Some would think so and define their actions based on that decision, that perception. Our life style, our society also contributes to that perception, that definition and we happily agree to that. And the moment, we do find/see someone or something that feels beautiful to us, we do not question that perception and just think "Beautiful...".
For me, beauty mean moments like...
When I see a baby girl hold on tight to her father's hands..
When my love looks in my eyes and asks "Do you know there's nobody else like you?"..
When a son comforts his sick mother saying "Its ok mom, we'll get through this"...
When I see a traffic policeman stopping traffic at a green light for a pregnant lady to cross...
When a bunch of youngsters go out of their way and take time to help others...
When I see moments that still make us humans....
We are beautiful. Each one of us. But tragically, we do not see beauty in others anymore. We should stop for a moment in time and rethink what beauty really is and to stop and admire...beauty.
