The crowd stifles me,
I want to just go away.
To a less noisy place,
A nearer lapse of vision.
I stare at nothing truly,
I pick just cobwebs.
Enticing for the bite,
I dig my own tongue deep.
Implicit within my voice,
Lies my belief so shy.
Explicit in my silence,
My world is not about you.
I want to just be free,
To edge out my demons.
The hazy lights blink fast,
Is it my neglected cast.
