“What our society needs?” was the question for the lecture today.
There were all sorts of answer- scientific, economic, socially concerned, and political…….
And my answer was- compassionate people, lovers of all kinds is our need…
We may have all kinds of crazy people around. Some extremely competitive, some diplomatic, some sarcastic, some possessive, some always worrying, some irritating, some lovey dovey, some huggers kissers, some who love themselves, some intelligent, some who find faults, some back stabbing and some who doesn't care…
Have you ever seen a compassionate person in your life?
Yes those who would care for you and love you even when others don’t. And they care for the street dog, to the old women climbing stairs with loads, from the little tea stall boy to the wealthy lonely old man in the building… they would care for you even when you are rude and wrong… and they will care with all their heart.
These people are never short of hope, have their own opinions and just love loving. They are optimistic, generous and shining people.
There life is not easy as we think but they had overcome loving self as much as they love others…
LOVING OTHERS MORE THAN SELF.... is it not what our society needs???? Will it not heal majority of injuries????
YES, it requires sacrifices but a better world need such people.So readers, Learn compassion even a little... perhaps you end up loving yourself more through it.
