As i sit down to watch a sitcom on tv with my Mom,within 10 minutes I get frustrated and tell her to change the crap.Why?Well,the show was that of the soap queen Ekta Kapoor and the rubbish it showed tore into pieces.Women,she belives are nothing but saree-jewellery clad toys and they can't do anything much better than rona-dhona!A women just out of her delivery gives away her kid to someone else and calls it 'sacrifice'!!!!(somebody kill me!) Are we really living in the 21st century?The Balaji makes me doubt it really hard...why?why do we need to show AND watch this crap?We all are humans,be it man or woman,everyone has emotions,everyone has the right to think for themselves,is that being selfish?And doing such stupid things,are they what we call 'respecting relations' or 'sacrifice'???I dont think so.Why?Why cant we simply show women as they are today?Smart,independent,rational.That wont mean we have stopped caring for our families in any way.A strong women is what should be the message to the world not a damsel in distress,poor thing!Cuz we cant deny that daily soaps do have impact on our thought process and vision,so why not present it in a better way and spread a better word??
