Dreams are fragile ,
handle them carefully.
Put them velvet wrapped in a sandalwood box
And put the box, to be on safe side ,
inside your heart.
Gradually as time goes ,
a lot of heavy rocks, shady fogs
Broken promises and shattered hopes
and many more necessities and inevitable
would get gathered in your heart,
would nudge the sandal wood box gently
and make way for themselves.
And you may find,
the grown up heart is too small a place to keep the box.
And that day, take it out, carefully-
Pass it on to your child,
tell her to keep it safely
as you did .
After all, it is priceless.
Who knows?
May be as time goes unlike you,
she would learn how to play with Dreams..
