where have all the sparrows gone?
Today i saw a single lonely sparrow outside in the sun, and it made me think about the last I had encountered a happy chirping horde of them. It must have been years ! The last time i remember a sparrow family making a nest in my house was about 10 years ago and what a delight it was to sprinkle grains for them in the morning and try to get as close to them as possible !
Lets just give some of our time daily to leave a bowl of water on our roofs, sprinkle some grains, provide artificial nests for birds. because with new and modern designed houses, its getting hard for these birds to find shelter and find food.
Lets hope that the magical sweet chirps return as soon as possible, for it would be sad that the next generation grows without knowing such a beautiful bird.
