Once again he has done his work and gone unnoticed , in the midst of this crowded metro he has been once again successful in completing his job meticulously and as always has left people suffering from his deeds. Everyone is running to do something to protect themselves from this ruthless and inhumanitarian attack , people are trying in vain to somehow move away from the zone of attack but they don't realise that they cannot run and hide from the work of the Silencer. The man who has just let go off the turmoil inside him in the form of a chemical , actually to be precise in terms of chemistry a gas produced by bacterial action on waste present in the intestine primarily composed of hydrogen sulphide and methane.
This is not the first time that the silencer has attacked in the metro , he has been doing this on regularly basis and despite all the security and hi-tech instruments nothing has been done to stop these attacks on public. And it is not just in metro that this barbarian strikes , he usually strikes in places which are crowded , when he knows no one will notice what he has done and he will roam freely afterwards. The silencer merges himself with the public and even tries to share their pain by inducing false emotions of disgust and pain while inside he explodes with joy and relief. But today I shall scrutinise the crime scene to catch him red-handed or gas- realising as it should be.
Everyone in the near vicinity has covered their faces to protect themselves from the dangerous combination of gases but the severity of the attack could be easily seen on faces of people who have been late in realising what has happens to them and have experienced some of the deadly chemical. Actually the confined space of the metro makes the attack more dangerous as it takes sometime for the ventilation to work and by that time the gas has done a lot of damage. So who could be the silencer I look while trying to take some of the refined oxygen that is remaining.
Could silencer be this man in his mid thirties who has a smirk on his face , a smile that is not clearly evident but yet not entirely hidden , a smile of a person who has just been relieved of some pressure that he has been holding and in return getting the satisfaction that his hard to hide. Or could he be the man clearly in his fifties who still looks like having an internal turmoil , a man who has still some unfinished business and is looking kind of worry whether he will be able to finish it off or not, a man who is reining over something badly . The silencer could also be this young fellow besides me who is trying too hard to show that he clearly condemns such attack on innocent people and is trying to move as far possible from the point of attack. May be he his trying to disguise himself as a protector of people like the Silencer tries to do in some of his cases.
But the chemistry knowledge I have is trying to tell me that if the young man is behind me how can I could come under his zone of attack as it would take much time for the chemical to disperse with air. But then I don't remember his position before the attack , it is only after the attack that I have started to look for the culprit. Could it be that person?? , No!! , but why no?? , of course she could be , now it comes to my mind that it could easily be a woman after all the chemistry doesn't believe in gender bias so why should I?. It would be a perfect crime ,after all it is in our nature to look for men in such crimes and leave aside the women. The case has become more intrigued , now that I have to profile the culprit from the start.
Just as I am trying to look for the most dangerous criminal the public has ever faced , a criminal so common yet has never been caught , there is a second attack of the Silencer. The attack is more or less of the same intensity and severity leaving people hassled. But this time the metro has come to their respite and the door opens before the attack could do some more damage. As people deboard the metro I am thinking " I don't know who you are and what you want but I do know that I have skills that I have developed over the years and sooner or later I will catch you and then you will have to answer for all your crimes that you have committed on innocent lives, I promise you Silencer we shall meet one day".......
