When a protest that is being held against crimes against women is disrupted by drunk young men (Some women as well) abusing women and making a peaceful protest into violent struggle between the police. That is the height of irony.
The news-waalahs kept asking who is the leader of this revolution or whatever you want to call it. I am glad there is no one who is apt for that position because as soon as there is a face to it, it is followed by politics, religion association which ends up in division.
I wish I was in Delhi right now, but my mom says "jab tumhari haddi toot jayengi to marham patti hum nahi karaayenge". Rumors are there that the people who became violent were actually from NSUI (A congress student union) Thank God I didnt vote for the NSUI. It is supposedly a conspiracy to deter the public from protesting.
I don't know if it is true, but if it is, for once dont go for violence, just have some patience. (Not a fan of Gandhi) And start the protest from home, before saying that you are ashamed of India, look within yourself. Weren't you ever unfair to yourself or to your sister or to your brother? Remember no one is born a rapist or an eve teaser or a molester!
