With the daily drudgery of life,
With trials, troubles and strife,
I wished my life would change,
Because all this suffering seemed so strange!

I wish I was someone with wealth,
But then I realized I had to sacrifice my health.
I wish I was someone with great power,
But then realized that others would be sour.

I wish I had more fame,
But realized it takes very little time to spoil one's name!
I wish I had more beauty,
But realized it was better to do my duty.

I didn't realize how beautiful my life could be,
Until I met someone who would trade places with me!
Taking all my troubles in my stride,
I realized that the grass is greener on the other side!
