This is a story by a Russian writer and socialist Fyodor Dostoyevesky. The story is a monologue of a guy who thinks he is ridiculous because he knows the Truth. People laugh at him, but he loves them back. The guy finds no reason for existence and decides to kill himself. The same day, while walking home he meets this little poor girl. How this incident drives the future events that night and how this leads to a dream is incredibly told. The dream itself has the most amazing description I have ever read. The impact is depicted well. But more than all of these events, the psychological change the guy goes through on the night of suicide and the manifestation of the possibility of such a dream is unparallelled. Great read.
