At night when darkness falls
The Cimmerian shade takes its place as the sun falls down
That’s when the evil comes out
And makes its way to your house
With a silent step it creeps within
It comes in and watches you with desire
You know what it seeks

The more it makes you aware it exists
With a grin on its face it and hunger in its eyes
You know he’s coming for you and you know he’s gonna get you tonight
You may hide and you may cry
But there is no use of it dear child

Because he can take it because he is not your hero
Take the name of your holy if you believe
But that won’t help or make a delay
For when it comes hell takes over
The angels shudder and move over
It breaths on your skin and wraps its arms around you
The dark cloaked figure is what guards you
As first much as it loves to be this way
It was with you from the womb you were in
Hate it, love it, and embrace it if you want
It comes every day for the love it wants
Those sharp teeth and those blood shot eyes
Look at you with hunger, desire and void
Give in now for you still have time
Like I said begging for it to go away won’t make it change its mind
