Success is meaningless unless it is translated into significance.
You are successful when you add value to yourself but you are significant if you add value to other people, to other things. Firstly, you can add value to yourself when you possess the right attitude. Take this one-armed golfer for instance. When asked about his success, he replied, “The man with right attitude and one arm is always better than the player with two arms with wrong attitude.” Once success is reached, it is time to achieve significance. There was a boy who used to learn Judo and was handicapped. For him, his instructor only taught him one move. He practised it, without complains. Years passed by and he still knew only that one move. No matter what belt hi achieved, he only knew ONE MOVE. Yet he practised it hard. On the day of competition, he fought a boy years senior to him. He fought bravely and defiantly and won- with only one move! The reason behind that was that only this move was possible for him and he valued that move. He valued the time he practised. He valued his teacher. This way, he not only gained success but also significance.
