My sister just wrote a piece and she was over joyed by the fact that her writing fetched two hats off!
The very next second (being the whiny younger brat sister) she started whining as to how she was unable to use fancy shmancy words.
It struck me. I thought to myself how a writer is bound by so many limitations. The plot, proper beginning, the verbal parafinalia.
Such limitations can be so paralyzing for people like us. We, who write to vent, write to share, to unload. It is amazing that we have a place to do all of it free from such boundaries and top of all the likes of us who actually read, understand, identify and appreciate!
Besides I think something put like, " Your absence is like a lack of narcotic to which I'm hooked" is better said as, "I miss you very much."
The impact of the second one is so much more profound.
Not that beautifully worded statements have their own charm but simplicity does too, even in writing.
So..... keep writing and enjoy writing babus!!!
Oh wait!!!! What about the female population??? Wait I shall write this separately.
