The sky rained blood. The breeze whispered the horror just occurred. There was death and nothing else. He knew what was coming. He was prepared for it the moment he became a knight. The army of the 1000 men now stood in front of him with just a number of 200. His men fought bravely, yet they were sent to rest on the very lap of heavens.Yes, All of them. His blade spoke of its tales about cutting its enemy to the ground with the medium of blood drops dripping down. His army could take down not more than 300 men. The ratio was from 200 to 1. He knew it well. Yet he stood strong. This is what happens when a man is possessed by honor and passion. He knew what was on his blood red armor. The phoenix. It spoke his hope, its rebirth. He had nothing else. It was all he need. His breath was high. The shield was pale. The faith of his empire was in his very hand. He knew he would die soon. But that was something he would do gladly. For the sake of his empire, For the sake of his honor, For the sake of his love.He was now waiting.
On the other hand there were army of 200 looking at the only living knight. The trembling legs, arms and voices conquered them. They had witnessed him kill their 500 men just before their eyes. But they knew what being a knight costs. But this man was no humanly. he took down almost all of them. They were standing shaking remembering all those laughs on the small count of enemy. But here they were terrified of just one man. Their eyes crowned to meet their knight's eyes. All they saw was no different than their own. But the knight knew what he had to do. he knew how the man standing against was feeling. If he ordered to attack, his men will be slaughtered or the brave knight who had earned his complete respect would die.He wanted none of such. Yet he had to carry on the command. As a knight he had no choice. He wished he could talked and admire this great worrier. All he could do is give them order, "Attack" followed by a silent "Sorry". The tears rolled down his cheeks.
And then I woke up. DAMN IT!!!
