Report Writing: Incident at Famous Nature Park

Below is a classwork I was given yesterday. It is report writing and I believe that was the best report I have written so far. Well judge me yourselves:

To the Commissioner of Police.

Incident at Famous Nature Park

I am Mukhtaar Ashraf and I am writing this report to the Commissioner of Police to account about an incident I witnessed yesterday, Sunday, 3rd of March, 2013 at the nation-wide famous 'Vallee des Couleurs' Nature Park.

At the 'view-point' of the park, at about one o'clock, there was only an old man when I arrived - or so it seemed. The man was wearing a blue checked shirt, Which seemed to be a bit larger than his size, and a pair of dark blue jeans. I could easily guess him to be in his early sixties, but was unusually healthy. He relied on no stick like usually old men do, and walked about sternly, though visibly enjoying the cool breeze at that height of the park.

I made no eye contact nor tried to start a conversation with him. He seemed to be in a world of his own. So, I decided to take a look over at the park as I initially intended to do. However, no sooner had I turned, than I heard something falling on the concrete ground of the 'View-point'. I turned, only to find myself staring at the old man, who was on his knees, before falling flat on the ground. I managed to catch a glimpse over of a third mysterious man.

The latter raced quickly away from the spot. I had no time to go after him. Helping the old man was much more important. I hurried towards him. His pale blue shirt was covered in blood all over his torso. He had a deep stabbing wound on his abdomen. As there was no one around, I decided to carry him down the 'view-point' myself. I first checked his pulse, which was decreasing alarmingly. He needed medical assistance immediately.

Careful not to let him fall, I carried him on my shoulder all the way down the hill, on which the 'view-point' was.Immediate assistance was provided and both Police and hospital were informed and were instructed to hurry to the park urgently. After the arrival of the police, I was interrogated and requested to provided maximum details about the third man involved. Then the officer told me that I should write a report to the Commissioner.

If ever I am needed for further investigation, just summon me at any time, I shall be available.
