Who snatched away the bliss of happiness surrounding me?
Who snatched away the fragrance love had provided me?
Who snatched away the love he used to shower me with?
Who snatch away the picture, we so carefully had painted in glee,
of a rosy garden, among the flowers we sat, cuddling
beneath the peepal tree,
with blossoms so merry, sweet as cherry, all rejoicing in glee?
Where did the love all vanish beneath the folds of the untouched,
setting the care, the friendship, the beauty- all so free,
WHo dared to snatch away what I could proudly say was mine?
Intoxicating and cherishing, just as the sweet old wine?
Who made me wait for so long,
I forgot even how to breathe
And yet I see myself waiting for the love,
which unfortunately had I set so free..
