The leaves so optimistic, look up, waiting for the rain,
as the downpour gives the thirsty a chance to quench
their long ridden thirst,
the green dying out, the body in utter pain,
seemed haggard, dead, as towards the ground it bends,
wilting up slowly, yet bearing fruits,
which do not grow, of course, they die before they mature..
The downpour as if saves it, the colour
changes into the deeper shades of green,
with flowers of all shapes and size
dance to the tunes of the melodious rain.
It seems as if it got life, afresh, after so many days
you get to see it happy,
once mourning over its very own death,
now stands tall, thanking the nature with its
very own breath.
