Been a tough past few weeks, didn't get time to write on any subject. And then the rains came, washing away my excuses and making me to log in to this beautiful site again.Yesterday, while returning home from office,I avoided crushing an ant to a miserable death.I didn't know whether I would be glorified or villified after the act so I let the thing pass. When I reached home,I got into that thinking mode. The one that the season of rain always brings forth. Was the ant enjoying the droplets of water falling on its body or was it looking for a shelter to vanquish the chill it suffered from?! I didn't know. I never would.
In those two seconds that we met,our lives had got entwined. We had thrown apart the boundaries of money, form, caste and creed.Yet,in those two moments, the ant must have viewed me as lord shiva-the destroyer.I might as well would have stopped and we would have exchanged pleasantries but then neither of us had the time. The ant moved on and so did I.IF I were to rewind time and go back to that ant again, albeit in a different environment, what would my reaction be-I didn't know. I never would.
Panning out the picture,in life also we meet numerous people.Their past we don't know, their future we can't foresee.Yet,in those few minutes, they change our lives.By their thoughts,by their talk.In those moments of interaction,we don't realise their importance.Later on,we do.Cherish the moments before they dissolve into your ocean of thoughts.Make the rain drop matter before it hits the ground.
