Can a boy and girl stay just as friends forever??

A question I always answered so positively without going deep into the reality, without feeling the way people may feel about it. Anyways, that's another story why I never took it on nerves!

But, today I have been asked for my serious views on the issue, so I have to be sincere!
And thus, I am here to give it a thought!

Umhmmm! ... here comes the real problem_ we are unable to understand the real meaning of friendship and love!!! Why we categorize them as two different relations!? I just detest all that talk_ of a choice between friendship and love!!! What is the difference between the two?? Huh!! Is there really any difference!? Even when both the relations have the same demands : Understanding, Care and Trust!!!
Now, if you ask me any question differentiating between the two relations and ask me to pick one!
“There exists none!” will be my answer!! For both cannot stand alone!
For, friendship without love is an empty canvas with no colous!
Friendship without love is a flower without fragrance!
Friendship without love is a sun without the sunshine!
Friendship without love is clouds unable to rain!
Friendship without love is island without water!
Friendship without love is a tree without boughs!
Friendship without love is the snow without cold!
Friendship without love is air without oxygen!
Friendship without love is a fish without fins!
Friendship without love is bird without feathers!
Friendship without love is a wine without the real taste!
Friendship without love is a ride without the riders!
Friendship without love is a pen without ink!
Friendship without love is the lamp without light!
Friendship without love is laughter without clutter!
Friendship without love is the eyes without the sight!
Friendship without love is a company unseen!
Friendship without love is glue non-sticky!
Friendship without love warrior without hope!
Friendship without love is a human without humanity!

Still if you think that that you can separate the two relations! Wake up then!!
It is the glue of love which is binds all the beautiful relations of this world!
Wait my fellas, let me come to the question now! …
And I still say yes!! A boy and girl can stay as friends forever!!
A friend is the one who knows you, all your strengths and weaknesses, yet Loves you!
A friend does not demand explanations, he just understands! Even your silence!!
And here, the point is, the closer you are to your friends, the more the intensity of love!
A stage may come when you cannot live without your that friend! And if it is so, then yes, you can say, “I am in Love”!
It is about the “Intensity”, not the “Difference”
For, love was always there, you realized it Now!
Still, you can keep the things in control as long as you want!! And yes, a boy and a girl can stay just as friends! It is a game of mind and heart!! No-one has control over your thoughts except you!!
Sometimes, it is necessary to keep a barrier to our thoughts in order to fulfill your friendship! Because it was “Friendship” which gave it a start!! It is unique relation in its own!
I am not saying to stop expressing your feelings!! Do express and be spontaneous!! But, also consider others' feelings! “What you want” is more important part of a true “friendship” than imposing your own desires upon others directly!!!
