Proverbs are truths or supposed truths extracted from life's experiences over generations. Seldom, they prove wrong. But I know one instance which is wrong and idiotic. The proverb I have in mind is: "If a married man goes astray, he eventually turns around and returns home. The same is not true for a woman."
