Prayer during the Darkest hour

When it’s all too dark to see clear
When the heart is filled with vindication and pain
When I’ve closed my eyes to see good in people
When the self becomes too selfish and drain

When there is grief and guilt around
When you know it’s bad and still you move ahead
When the heart has muddled up thoughts
Unable to find a medium to express

When I can see no good in myself too
When I start doubting my very essence
When there are apprehensions all around
Making it all too hazy to see the light
Then let me pray to Thee
Let a faint light come my way, tickle the eyes and say
“its alright to face such an upheaval
U will be alright my ward
its just an another phase”
