Many of us has experienced this phase in our life though in many different ways. This is a story of a boy named Varun and a girl named Neha. Their story is not an unusual one but its more related to them who have experienced pain in love.
"I don't love you!"
Varun was now habitual to listening these words from his girlfriend, Neha after every fight It was just a year ago they met on Facebook and fell in love with each other. Varun is a sensitive and childish guy who believes that love happens only once in life and if he has to die for it he will. On the other hand, Neha is an independent girl who loves her freedom more than anything in her life.
Varun falls on his knees after listening these words from her and starts crying. He starts cursing his fate for making him fall in love with a girl who doesn't love him no matter how good he try to be.
"C'mon don't cry now. I have told you this many times before also but you are not ready to accept the truth. Stop acting like a kid now", said Neha.
Her words only makes his condition more worse that he almost starts coughing with pain in his chest. He is patient of a chronic lung disease due to his smoking habit. Neha who knows that very well retires to her old behaviour of fake love to make him feel alright.
"Accha na sorry...I love you na", she said. Varun knows she is faking it but still believes her.
That night his mind runs down the memory lane to the happy times they spent together. He picks up his diary and engraves his thoughts in it.
'My heart is lost somewhere...he went in search of love but never returned. A women has it but she is not ready to give it back. I even begged in front of her to return my heart but all I got in return was pain.
It was the month of May when I went on my first date with Neha. I still remember she was wearing a blue top and brown jeans. She was looking very beautiful in that outfit. I took her for a long ride on my bike. I remember her whispering words of love in my ears while I was driving.
I wish she was here right now with me. I wish she never came into my life...'
Next morning, Neha called up at Varun's cell but it was switched off. He might be asleep she thought. After an hour later she tried to call him again but his cell was still switched off. She decided to visit him and give him a surprise on his birthday. She brought some roses and a bottle of a nice men's perfume but when she reached his house all her expressions vanished into thin air. In front of her eyes lay the body of Varun covered with sheet white sheet and beyond that was his picture covered with flowers with his parents sitting nearby sobbing.
