Once upon a time there was a girl,
Little did she know about the reality of life
An open, happy and full of life person
Then as time flew, she met many people,
Getting to know about their nature
She felt awkward, alone and cheated
A new colour of people she witnessed
In school, at home, everywhere
She now knew how things appear, it's not true
She got cheated upon, played with, back-stabbed, yet she didn't lose hope
As she kept on meeting new people, she kept on losing her innocence and kindness
It was still there, indeed
But now she'd not care anymore
She believed that's how people are
And it's not worth giving a fuck anymore
But now, she realizes what she has lost
And how she has become
Also, she knows that it's impossible to go back now
How things were back then, how people were long time ago
This is my story, could be yours too

And right sushree, goodness in heart shouldn't be lost!!
just one thing...if its impossible to go back and if u want to, try re-living the past...and somehow or the other, its always possible...:)
Sufi: living in the past, be it good or bad, doesn't fetch anything. You can only learn from it and move on. Don't you think?
and the past, be it good or bad, if you REALLY WANT it back, nurture your memories, live with it...not sure about happiness, but it sure gives satisfaction which provides peace.........
"moving on" doesnt provide you learning, its not the solution ALWAYS...maybe at exceptionally critical situations...but not always...
In a way, you just get used to it and your life goes on.
