Of folk I've met in our travel to different places-
Calcutta- Women-smoothest skinned, darkest haired..biggest tikka on foreheads, draped in the loveliest cottons.
Their Men- sad contrast to their lovely women in looks department, intelligent, terribly patriotic...but very very hot tempered!
Delhi- Women-fairest n loveliest, but why in layers of makeup???
Men-aggressive, big, bulky(result of years of gorging on Parathas n paneer),uncouth, cannot handle women properly(like gentlemen)
Mumbai- Women-smartest, most professional, coolest, most bindaas
Men-gujjus-heavily into faayda n dhanda-no time to peek at women unlike Delhi counterparts, maharashtrians-the most passive men ever!
Pune- well, the best.. haha
women-simple, gharelu, educated
Men-again-simple marathi speaking, happy to be found munching on peanuts any time of day/night, simple pleasures, usually follow wives' advice!
Kerala--a land of coconut, mundu and engineers
Women-mix of fair, dark, medium complexions, most educated in the country, export hard working nurses to all parts of globe, namely gulf and US..
Men-highly domineering, men in lead while walking as couple, they sometimes forget wives are in tow(go off on their own!), highly ambitious, very adaptible, can work under any conditions, anywhere(except in kerala!),
lungi loving, Prithviraj adoring(who will not!), politics discussing (day n night), heavily eating(wives slog all day)..
Writerbabu-where presently I am.
Women-mostly young teens with sprinkling of a few elderly ones(ah!), haven't met any of 'em(sadly), incredibly talented, funny sometimes, sad mostly(haha)
Men-complicated, yet simple(found only here!), terribly romantic, young, argumentative(and how!), but still cute!
Well, no prizes for guessing which one is my favorite destination???
