I heard this sort of dialogue in many movies, and it is without doubt true... :D
"Never in my life I will venture on Facebook"
That was what I said often 2 years ago. Most of my classmates had an account on Facebook. They grouped together, and talked non-stop of things I did not understand. To me, Facebook was the foreign land that was ruining the lives of my mates. It was a total waste of precious time which could have been spent studying..
They used to describe wonderful games and how they befriended some sexy gals.. I was fascinated but I would resist Facebook, thinking it to be a harmful site..
However, finally last year, on 5th August, in the middle of a very much boring 2nd term holiday, Curiosity won over resistance. Just create an account and take a look, then log out and never enter that horrible site again.. that was what I decided to do..
Forward to April 2013..
Today, I'm addicted to Facebook. I can't help logging in daily. Sometimes I even log in before entering on WriterBabu; which is a bad thing to do, since it makes me forget what I had thought to write. As soon as the small green dot indicates me online, a number of my mates challenge me to online pool matches. I am even admin on a page. Anybody needing to get a problem solved in the village concerning their FB account, knocks at my door, and here I am, at your service sir..
Well, that was my journey.. from a studies addict to a Facebook addict.. :D
