Life isn't about doing what you're supposed to do or doing what is mandatory. It's about doing what you love, what you aspire to be, what you are passionate about. Life is about picking that passion and being the best you can be at it. Finding that passion and running with it is not the easiest thing to do but fortunately , I chose my passion as for being a good Engineer and I am in my way to accomplish my aim which is also my passion.
I, in my first year of Engineering truly believed the principle that engineers are problem solvers. They need to be dedicated, hard-working people. Engineers improve health care, the environment, and much more. Solving tough problems like these takes passion. Nobody understands passion like the people who stand by their interests even when it's not the cool thing to do. But now, speaking about the benefit of my second year of education, I learnt the fact that it is not just about dedication, creativity and hardworking, the true success of being an engineer is all about his innovative thinking , his creative approach to solve a socio-economic problem that persists around him. The way he widens his perception and angle of thinking about the problems given to him decides the quality of him being an engineer. That is the cause of which Galileo is distinct from those Orthodox people who lived in his time . As Galileo 'thought' instead of blindly following what is 'taught' , unlike the others of his time. That made the big difference, that made him unique.
So, after finishing first half of my engineering course I came to an important conclusion that the age of competing to become a leader has far ended down in the ruins of city Rome , now the competition is between the leaders to become a dominant one . So to lead a team of leaders we must prove ourselves as unique amongst the leaders as Galileo did in his age , because Darwin's theory of 'Survival of the fittest' always holds good in all circumstances, It's a universal theory which can be accepted here with no offence. So, now drawing a conclusion about my past year's college experience, I got that this age is dedicated to learn 'How a Stuff can be Invented' rather than only to study and stick to 'How Stuff Works'. As the Indian Standard for Technical Education (ISTE) says that 'Engineering is not about ideas, but it is about making them happen'. This quote summarizes the whole thing that I have learnt in my previous year of education and what I am trying to convey in my writing.
