My darling daughter ..............

Blessed is a day when I wake up to her dreams, 

to play the knight who fights the bad guys and protects his princess, 

Moments later, I become the jumbo, as the princess commands her majestic ride, 

I become her mule as she thinks of her petting Zoo, and her puppy when she wants her own dog, 

I become her clown when she wants to make fun of me, 

And her pupil as she tries, in futility, to teach me ballet, and impatiently calls me silly eh ;

Left with no choice, I sometimes become her opponent; 

be it badminton or soccer, i play the sucker and lose every time; 

As I go through this ordeal, my heart swells with pleasure i can find nowhere, 

As she is an absolute treasure.
