Knew him only casually before
but now so much at the fore
proves to be a fellow so true
I stick to him forever like glue

I thrash him continually
he endures silently
doesn't speak a word
nor does he draw a sword

A guy so affable
easily palpable
most adaptable
but least audible

He knows me inside out
especially my angry pout
with the trademark shout
what it's all about

I cool down somewhat
get into my super slow trot
delete those words so hot
soothing words I forgot

He constantly gives
my error forgives
he's my captive
though actually more active

You ask me who he is
enough of this strange quiz
well, he has me floored
my beloved keyboard!!
