Recently I came across an article on this very site regarding friendship.Writing anything about friendship invokes strong feelings within me.And when its about my best friend,the emotions just spill over.They say a boy and a girl cannot be best friends.Either they are friends or they are dating.The usual societal mindset.Well,my best friend is a girl.And I proudly say that.
We have laughed,cried,fought,fussed and done all sorts of crazy things and through all these I have learnt what it takes to be a friend.Sacrifice is just one of the many aspects.Trust and love are some of the other aspects.They are not merely words written on sand which get washed away with each tidal wave.They are there to stay.Stay till eternity.
I feel I am blessed and so must be the feeling for each one of you who has a best friend.You can share all the details of your life with your best friend,you can bug him/her at the middle of the night and go on extending the conversation till wee hours of the morning.When your boss slanders you,you can slander him by talking with your best friend.
Besides being a support system,they just tend to complete you in every possible way.
I don't meet my best friend on a daily basis because we live in different cities but I and my best friend know that we are there for each other till the end of our lives.We are inseparable and yeah,we are crazy.I love my best friend so very much.
