In the present scenario we have to rethink and redesign our strategy for arguing on different issues at the policy level with the Government and it is very needed in the card project. When Government is pressing mandatory use of Aadhar card for every social security schemes in the name of curbing the leakage and corruption, and everyone in the policy circle know it is a way through which the government will pull its steps back from the basic social responsibility and let the market player to lead the economy.
Here we can make a point. In the last five year we argued a lot about the ill effect of Aadhar card and related elimination of the suppressed class in large number. Lots of things are proved with the help of statistical data, and fact finding report are there to support the argument but no one in the system seems listening.
So for a while we need to rethink and redesign our strategy for shaping our fight in a totally different way by raising slogans about the mandatory use of Aadhar card in every deal specially the real state business, finance, and transportation. We need to talk about the mandatory use of Aadhar card in all the transaction which the biggest source of black money in our economy. As black money is the biggest source of election funding, increases corruption so we need to give a cry for the mandatory use of Aadhar card. So, let it make very clear for the mandatory enrolment in the Aadhar card for the Government staff, their family member and the politician.
The result of this strategically shifting of our argument will be result oriented. If we are really concerned about privacy, our rights so let take this fight to the higher level, and the real change will come. The black market empire around which the system is craved will get a big blow. The people especially the upper income class is not ready for such kind of shock and for them this discussion makes no sense so in the first moment the shock will do our work. In the present scenario most of the middle and upper middle class people had already enrolled with this scheme so it will not be a bad choice. The whole black market business and empire is craved on the ruins of poor people so it will give us a fair chance to ask for our part in this system.
Now the question is who will lead this movement and how the common people, academician, activist, social worker and social economist will change their way of fight in a sudden. Why the change in the mentality of the people will not face with the different obstacles so what we achieve from our fight in last five year need to be analyzed and need to formulate a common agenda for it for giving a try. It will be not a wrong choice.
