Have ever asked yourself what other countries and cultures think about LOVE? Here is a small collection, by myself, of 12 proverbs on love. They are taken from source I do not remember now. In the original, names of the cultures were cited. But I have omitted them here to help readers concentrate on the beauty of the proverbs and enjoy them to the full without getting distracted by names of countries and cultures . You may have your pick from the list.
1)Coffee and love taste best when hot.
2)Love understands all languages.
3)There is no love like the first love.
4)The heart that loves is always young.
5)He who loves you will make you weep.
6)He who treads the path of love walks a thousand meters as if it were only one.
7)A life without love is like a year without summer (in cold countries) or spring (in hot countries).
8)Love makes a man both blind and deaf.
9)Where there is love there is no darkness.
10)Love has to be shown by deeds not words.
11)It is love that makes the impossible possible.
12)Love sickness hurts but does not kill.
The above list contains proverbs which apply to all forms of love such as friendship, filial love, etc. and are not restricted to only the sexual love.

And...my proverbs I posted in the comment you erased, were from the same place you took these you posted...
I am glad that from my country you chose a neutral and true one ..
But why hiding the rest?
I did not want to make the list long. That is why there are only 12 proverbs. You have any problem?
hahhahaha. you said : "You choose what suits you best. You should just enjoy reading these proverbs."
So...where is what I chose??? I got notification for your comment... but mine was not here... So...why did you answer me? Because IF it was to erase my comment, it would happen when I posted it....and you wouldn't know about that?
I feel "bad vibrations" coming from your side...And I KNOW why :)
Ok...let's be friend... But do something for I can RESPECT your position!
