Every prophet was sent for a particular area/community and for a particular time, Jesus (Peace be upon him) was one of them. However since Muhammad (PBUH) was the last prophet, he was meant for ALL of the mankind. His message is Quran.
Quran besides confirming the message of Jesus, Moses and Abraham adds to it, what is necessary for the existing mankind and till the Day of Judgment.
