How to remain fit and healthy?

Today’s children are overburdened with studies leaving them no time for enjoyment. Even if they manage to have spare time, places for playing is less, as there are buildings everywhere. Thus they are increasingly getting obsessed with indoor activities, like sitting in front of the television or computer or studying for long hours; unlike the yesteryears when they could go out and play. The sedentary lifestyle has affected the quality of health.
Most children nowadays do not take interest in outdoor physical activities. It is a matter of concern as it hampers their health. Sitting idle all day brings about many health problems including obesity, juvenile diabetes, etc.
Nowadays it is important to take extra care of ourselves to stay fit. Staying fit doesn’t mean becoming fat; rather one has to be active. One should wake up early in the morning and spend time exercising and doing yoga, regularly visit parks and play outdoor games, which not only refreshes the mind but also keeps us fit. It is necessary to keep the physical activities at par with studies in order to balance the pressure. Hence, one should try to regularly take part in physical activities and games. One should also avoid sitting idle for long hours. Along with these, it is also important to stay happy. These are some ways to remain fit despite an unhealthy lifestyle, following which the children can stay physically fit and healthy.
