The decision here I'm referring is to choose whether one want to work in a company that is giving a big fat check but maybe the work is not as much satisfying as he aspires or working in a company with not much paycheck but with likable work quality.
As with lots of my generation brothers and sisters I am here standing on the joint of two way path out of which i have to ultimately choose one at the end of this year.So here I am finding myself firing my brain neurons to decide which one to choose.
Hence,like old times as whenever i found myself mixed in a puzzle like this i tried to interrogate those decisions, their origin and also all the future possibilities that i will be in after following each one of it.So,as here it obvious that the fight is in between two facets of satisfaction money and work.I mean which one you prefer?
So as i interrogate,it seems like the money thing I mean the deeper roots of never ending attachment of our desire to be evergreen happy (which i think is everybody's ultimate aspiration from their life..isn't it?)with money is rooted by our own society.I mean if you really give it a pinch of thought you will see that from childhood we were trained to gather infinite money (don't confuse with infinite ..i'm talking about physics definition of infinite that is greater than the greatest you can imagine).I mean the desire to get as much amount of many never ends.If you start getting high salary there still be someone whom with you will be compared by this society and you will be criticised that you are not getting anything at all and even i believe after becoming a billionaire or being on the ford's most wealthy people's list you are not done at all as you need to be on top of it that is then society will ask you the consistency.
So,its like we have been grown to be machine that can produce dollars.So, i was also believing in this strategy to get maximum paycheck to fulfill society wish but after working for two months in an internship, something changed as I started developing new perspective towards what gives you happiness (or here I'm referring satisfaction)in life?
In that intern the work that was given was earlier seemed to be non interesting but as soon as i got involved to deal with it and started learning and doing things which i could have never done if it was not asked to do forcefully(due to money bondage i have to complete it before the limited deadline as it was a paid internship) I started liking the things that i earlier not hated but certainly didn't thought it worth liking.So learning new things,opening to new experience gave me new perspective and hence i came with this conclusion that yes money is driving factor in one's decision of choosing a workplace because we have inherited this thing from our previous generation which got strengthened as we grew up in the money praising society so it got rooted so deeply that its gonna affect every decision of our life but still just like buying a new thing (eg cloth) can consume your affection towards it only for days after its just a cloth from a bundle of its other species similarly not satisfying,challenging, likable work which one have joined only for money is not gonna hold oneself for long time happy inwardly.
