When I am in your arms the world freezes around me and all that I can feel is your heart beating against my chest and your breath on my skin. There’s nothing else that I can feel, sense or hear around me because your arms create a vacuum and I become unresponsive to anything else beyond that. When I am in your arms nothing comes to my mind, no thoughts or tensions, no yesterday, no tomorrow. But when you’re gone, the world starts all over again and I go back in that world.
