it's amazing how best friends share their biggest dreams but more amazing is when you start to dream together and do everything possible to turn it into reality... I once saw in television program that showed a story of two best friends..both had same dream and that was to get enrolled in same college..both had potential and inspired each other to give their best..one of them attained highest scores as she received acceptance letter while the other one was rejected due to lack of confidence..she started to take her classes while he was devastated.. even though she was pressurized to maintain her top rank she supported her best friend..later one day when they both were having lunch, he received a letter from university .. he opened, read and turned pale.. after few intense moments he looked at her and said... I got acceptance letter from that university...both went speechless and as they realized the intensity of the news, with amazement and tears, he hugged her...
I know many people won't understand emotions,tears,excitement,nervousness and handwork behind this but person like me can relate this, who find herself in a very similar situation very often..
recently my best friend was struggling to get into university and study abroad..he is amazing person with a lot of potential and also a hard worker..but very conservative to share his stuff with friends..I was glad to be his good friend.. he knew where wanted to be but the only thing he needed, was little encouragement and support... I shared his dream and we both worked hard to turn it into reality.. many moments came where I felt my faith shedding due to many unfavorable and challenging situations but I had to impart confidence in him, having faith that our hard work won't be waste of time...
and one day we got to know that he got admission in the desired university..not only that, he also got scholarship of 20 lac rupees along with a letter which stated that, he is among the best new students and they are honored to provide him education in their institute.While I sum this up within 4 lines, all our hard work of several months seems to fade away in the background...
but one thing I've learned in this process is ..dreams do come true specially when you have somebody who owns your fears and turn them into your strength...
within a few weeks, he is going to leave for abroad...
these days he is helping another person he found, who has great potential but lack self confidence... I really hope he succeeds in his purpose as I did and this chain goes on and on...
