I have discovered in my life that if you do not have your own business you cannot really be the person you would like to become. Whether in America, or India, China or Africa, to completely fulfill your life’s calling and to maximize the time you have on this earth, we all need to leverage our time. Time is a commodity that you can never get back and we need to use our time wisely. A business of your own is more than self-employment. It is a business with a system for success where you can leverage time and in addition, associate with a community of people who are all working together to accomplish this business plan.
I have learned the hard way that each of us needs to learn the art and science of being financially fit. I have learned to keep track of my daily expenses and prepared a monthly budget that I follow regimentally. I am determined to be debt free within a short period of time. My family is learning to manage our finances in an offensive way by adding the leverage of our own business to increase incomes and in other practical ways using our talents. We are instigating a defensive tactic by working to live by the financial principles of those who are free from debt and are financially secure. Through the years, we have learned that finances can make or break a marriage or a life.
The Bible tells us that without a vision a man will parish. We all need a dream; something that drives us to do more and to achieve more. We need to touch and feel our dreams and goals, as well as smell and taste them. We talk about our dreams and look at them daily. We read affirmation statements to change our outlook and to give us more confidence. Dreaming is essential in every culture and society. When we don’t dream we have no incentive to push our selves forward into the unknown and into fulfillment.
Loving and serving is essential to any and everyone’s life. I have also learned the hard way, that love and serving isn’t all about me getting and receiving but more about giving it away without complaining. When we give of ourselves, we have much more given to us in return.
Most importantly, I have discovered and I do my best to tell the world that God is in control of everything. Without Him I am nothing. He leads and he guides my steps and I owe everything to Him. The creator has established my ways and I will do my best to be the person He calls me to be.
