Today is thanksgiving day
they meet relatives, have fun, prayers say
they dig into their huge turkey, pudding and pie...
but many in poor countries in abject hunger lie
just one dry roti, maybe an onion
on this their tummy an entire day must run
when many waste food by the ton
here they don't know what is 'glutton'
it's an incomprehensible divide
east n west can never coincide
so folks when you there have a great time
pray for 'em caught in poverty's slime.
