Well, with so many odd posts under my belt..i should be having SOME kind of experience.
I don't say I get polled ALL the time but I do get twice as much as before. So no reason for me to complain.
Well..I realised the more we think of 'our' posts..the more we lose 'our' peace. so let's gaze into 'others' writeups for a change. And poll them generously, forgetting our own.
Emotions play an important part. Just as an actor gets into the skin of the person he wants to portray..so a writer identifies with the imagery he wants to create. He 'feels' stuff the guy in his story goes through.
He dips his brush into his can of thoughts.. splashes it onto a wordy canvas and a masterpiece develops right before his very eyes. He then ponders and wonders. Was it really his creation?
I think just beginning to write is the best remedy to beat writer's laziness. My fingers itch when I don't write someday.
Write consistently.
Then see your thoughts flow like a river. Just let your hair loose.
Wade in the sea of thoughts, experiment with pebbles of inspiration, dwell on sands of time, gape at the endless horizon..of limitless possibilities, unleash your creative energies.
Now pause. Gaze at your progress so far. Laugh an astounded aha!
Let the keyboard continue to clatter amidst the din and chatter.
Write from your heart. Be true to your inner 'I'.
Stare at folk..their clothes, hair..mannerisms..
They may throw dirty glances..don't give up. Observe tiny details, tuck them away in memory.
Look for humour in each situation. I guarantee people love fun.
They may not poll the first time but maybe the next time.
Write on a variety of topics.
Be absolutely original.
Now bring them out, piece by piece..arranging them as if one giant jigsaw puzzle.
Finish with a swipe at the keyboard.
One final one.
Upload a suitable image.
Lo! You are done.
But only half the battle's won.
The polling's just begun.
Hummwalas wake up from sleep, nice folk put on their jeans, gentlemen take off their hats and shy, young men suddenly go speechless!
Very well written anyway.. :)
