I read the other day of how Nawazuddin Siddique, the Khan guy who acted in kahaani, had made it big.
In fact kahaani gave him his breakthrough. He said he struggled for several years to make it big as an actor. He recounted the times in his native village where 90 people would be crammed in a room, also the days he went starving. They lived in abject poverty.
He arrived in Mumbai with big dreams but struggled just to subsist. I was touched when he spoke of how he walked all the way from Andheri to Film city in Goregaon because he had no money to go by bus!
But he didn't give up on his dreams in spite of several rejections. For he believed he would make it one day as an actor.
Finally he made it!
I fell in love with this Khan guy when I saw this movie.
I'm amazed by his story. Now he's a well known face every where.
Maybe some of us are going through struggling times. I hope this story can inspire us not to give up on our dreams but just keep pressing forward believing in ourselves supremely, no matter what others say.
One day we will make it big too!
