Fickle life

How fickle is life,
There it is,there it isn't.
Grabbing sand is difficult,
Holding a rock even more.
One person you know dies,
You are left with just memories.
Your best friend gets married,
Leaving beautiful times behind.
Parents and children live apart,
In times when togetherness is must.
Anxiety rules the kingdom of mind,
Boredom haunts even the most sought.
How fickle is life,
Time flies and feelings remain.
People hurt you and get hurt soon,
In death,we live and in life,we die.
