Any one can look fashionable if she has the money, time and the inclination to be so. But one does not become fashionable just by wearing new types or styles of dress/garments/apparels/clothing every day, every week, every month or every year. Yes, new styles set new trends and that is big business. But, to be fashionable in the true sense, one should have refined taste. Life experiences teach me that good and aesthetically pleasing taste can be in-born gifts which may go unnoticed and unrecognised. Of course training goes a long way to upgrade average standards, but I am surely not for cultural stereotyping, monotony, homogeneity, except, perhaps, on a small scale or for a limited duration. How to cultivate good taste? For tastes go with a particular culture and the values associated with that culture.
