The life is the most beautiful gift and we should appreciate the things we come across rather than chalking out the negative and grey sides of it. This is what elder people philosophize. But, is it actually possible to overlook the depressing, demoralizing parts over and over again and can we justify what they teach as well as preach? This is the human nature and there is nothing to be extradited and how can we forget that life is not celebrated by all in the same way!
There is so much to learn throughout the journey and the most interesting part is that we learn a subject without any effort or a degree. Yes, it is the human behavior, ranging from a new-born baby to an old person; poor people to rich people; holy people to violent criminals and so on and so forth. We meet people in our daily routine who serve our various purposes but do we actually value their existence in our respective lives! They are meant to be there, for our sake at that moment, but how significant remarks do we make. Oh! Wait! I am nowhere in a mood to deliver a moral lecture and prove myself to be the most well-behaved personality. But, just an expression can make the world around you happy.
The idea of “inferiority complex” and “superiority complex” is itself too complex. The society has demarcated a few things; rest depends on our upbringing and circle. I am quiet introvert and do not like to interact much or open up to a strange person easily. Obviously, it is my fault and sometimes it makes my close ones feel bad too. But, I believe that giving importance matters more than giving time to one or looking to his needs which do not need to be attended urgently. People will return what you give and this is the vicious circle that regulates everything that is absolutely yours.
The other day I was about to reach my hostel when someone shouted “bye” and when I turned back, I was amazed to see a small kid who is strange to my eyes, was smiling and again uttered the same word. That made me happy and it was a strange feeling and I smiled back at him. This small boy belongs to a tribal family (there is a tribal village nearby) but his innocence threw a lot of questions at my maturity. No one is small, and there is nothing like big, what makes the difference is our own thoughts and beliefs. Talking with people belonging to low strata of society do not make us low, but we think high of ourselves and so, a lovely gesture towards them will socially wrong and unjustified.
Another incident of understanding humanity is our own relationships. Love, care, respect and priorities matter more than the exchange of materialistic gifts and fulfilling of wishes. But, how far is this fact being understood by the opposite party? We try to be more like him/her but still can sense the feeling of discontentment. Our sadness is invisible and the exaggerated expression by the person has to be dealt with calmness and patience. This is the requirement but we term it as “dominance”. We are humans, equal but still very unequal. Our past and future play a very influential role for our seemly present, that’s why there are words like “memories”, “experiences”, “decisions” and “plans” in the dictionary.
The biggest threat to humanity is disrespect towards the human being, life and liberty and feelings, which is due to lack of understanding and we fake the idea of humanity by a simple reason that everyone is different and can’t be handled in similar ways; everyone is different and solutions have exhausted; and again, everyone is different and can’t be kept under watch all day long. But, I believe, we all are human, meaning of life is the same even if everyone is different. The bitterness cannot be always left uncured, but there lies some sweet “values” inside and here, we find the solution to cure the ones who do not understand the duty to respect humanity and understand the human behavior from different perspectives. So, ways are different and everyone is to be looked after and handled differently with joyful gestures, without any inner affirmation towards class division on any basis, because we are equal, but still unequal; where inequality has to be on ground of human behavior, undoubtedly.
