I know not when I emerged,
From the bonds of death.
Embracing and entangling,
Decisive and incisive to core.
My destiny was written,
Not in the dim-lit lanes of hell.
It was engraved upon stone of love,
Never to be erased or destroyed.
From the cacophony of destruction,
A simple boy with myriad life.
From the unbound, unseen creation,
A complex person with singular life.
I know not when I emerged,
From the ice cubes and the fire amalgam.
To help someone see the nature green,
To help someone admire the sky blue.
I am a man of warmth and woman of cold,
I am your own body, your very own soul.
A feast of emotions ever so divine,
A god,a human and an animal turned sublime.

I like the free verse. The lines "To help..." reflect that nature of human being as a social animal, it cannot be self centred...a generosity of soul. Well done!
