Droplets of Rain

Sitting by the window
I watch it rain,
Tiny million drops of water
Releasing Mother Earth’s pain.

Every drop no matter how small
Adds to the falling rain,
Creates this world a lovely forest
Which was once a dry plain.

Trees happily dancing in rain
Flowers sweetly smiling like a girl,
Lush Green leaves shining bright
With raindrops sitting like a pearl.

Drizzling downpour spreading happiness
Cool breeze makes everyone smile,
Petrichor fills the heart with joy
And inspires to walk that extra mile.

Little droplets of enticing rain
Its Calmness Frees the withering soul,
its tranquility Fills the widening void
And again it makes me whole!
