“LIFE IS EQUIPPED WITH AN AUTOMATIC RESCUE DEVICE. DONOT PANIC."
That’s what I (mis)read when I entered a lift today. With a “t” replacing the “e”, obviously. That’s when it hit me. True that! So damn f***ing true!
Having been through atleast some, if not many, not-so-easy phases in my life, I couldn’t even begin to fathom the futility and the stupidity of all my oh-my-god-whats-happening-with-my-life moments. When, for all I know, everything, no matter how bad, ultimately, settles back. Into its own rightful place.
Isn’t that something we all do? Fret over things way beyond our control? Try to mend stuff and situations that can’t be mended. Or worse, not even broken?
Maybe THAT is the faith those all-calm-and-peaceful people ask us to have. The faith that no matter how bad we fall, the rescue device of life will see us through…..
