Scientists did research on loneliness and found that it can raise the blood pressure of a person by 50%. But what is interesting in this research is the fact that loneliness does not depend on the amount of friends you have around you.
Loneliness is a perception of yours being alone. You can be lonely in a party, where there are lot of people and on the other hand feel fruitful being alone in a huge house.
Scientists used the Dunbar's Number, which is a method to determine the limit of people with whom one can maintain stable social relationships. But it is quite subjective.
Anyway, we all feel lonely at some point in time, but what do you do in such circumstances?
